Our year-round staff includes college athletes who have been with us as full-time coaches for anywhere from 1 to 15 years. With diverse backgrounds and a passion for the sport, our coaches specialize in working with players of all ages, skill levels, and playing styles. Playing for 16 years as a junior, Maria competed on the ITF circuit, winning multiple tournaments and representing Romania at the European Masters, where she achieved the No. 1 junior ranking in her country. During her collegiate career at Limestone University, Maria played at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions in both singles and doubles, helping her team reach a Top 10 national NCAA ranking.
Maria is also the Assistant Coordinator for the Junior Development Program (JDP) and has been coaching both juniors and adults for years from recreational to performance tennis.

During his collegiate career, he played primarily in the No. 4 and 5 singles positions, occasionally stepping up to No. 2 and 3, while consistently contributing at the No. 2 doubles spot. Before college, Christian gained international experience by competing in multiple ITF Futures tournaments, earning several ITF points, and even participating in an ATP Challenger event. He also spent many years training alongside close friend Lorenzo Sonego, who achieved a career-high ATP ranking of World No. 21. This experience provided Christian with valuable insights into high-performance tennis and the demands of the professional tour. Christian began his coaching journey in Italy and Switzerland, working with both juniors and adults through clinic programs. He continued developing his coaching skills during his college years and joined Future Stars in the summer of 2022. By August 2023, he became a full-time professional coach with the club.
“Tennis has given so much to my life and has been the fundamental key in shaping my character. My intent as a coach is to be able to convey the values of this sport through my experience.”

Angelo competed in ITF Futures across South America, Portugal, Mexico, and the U.S. before playing college tennis. At Cowley College, he played #1 singles and doubles, helping the team finish #4 in the nation and reaching the national doubles final, finishing ranked #2 in the country at the JUCO level. He later competed at Middle Georgia State University at #3 singles and #2 doubles, graduating in 2022.
Angelo went on to serve as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the University of Mobile men’s and women’s teams, earning his MBA in 2024. At Future Stars Southampton, he brings international playing experience and collegiate coaching expertise to players of all ages. Angelo’s previous coaching experience includes working at Hampshire Country Club in Westchester in 2024.

Martin grew up competing in national and international events, including Top Serv, Futures, and prize money tournaments, earning his first ATP point at age 18. He continued his tennis and academic career in the U.S., first competing for ASA College in Miami, where his team won the National Championship in his freshman year and finished #2 in the nation the following season. He later transferred to Reinhardt University (NAIA) in Georgia, where he was a two-time All-American and helped the team maintain a Top 5 national ranking, finishing ranked Top 10 nationally as an individual.
Martin has over seven years of coaching experience, beginning at the Pollonsky-Dabul Tennis Academy in Miami, where he worked with players ranging from beginners to college athletes and ATP/WTA professionals. He joined Future Stars Tennis Club in 2020, where he continues to develop players of all levels with a strong emphasis on technical foundation and movement.

Omar has been coaching tennis for 12 years and is a USPTA Certified Professional Coach. He currently serves as Co-Director of Tennis at FS Tennis Club, where he has been a full-time professional since 2016.
A former collegiate player, Omar competed for Western New Mexico University (WNMU), a Division II program, where he played primarily in the No. 5 and 6 singles positions and No. 2 doubles. During his four years with the team, he helped WNMU reach the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament in his freshman year and contributed to winning the RMAC Conference title all four years.
During his college summers, Omar worked at Carmel Valley Tennis Camp in California for three consecutive years, advancing each summer and reaching the position of Assistant Director in his final season.
Omar joined FS Tennis Club in 2016 as a counselor and, through his strong work ethic and leadership, quickly rose to become Assistant Director by the summer of 2018. Over the years, he has established himself as a full-time professional coach, now completing his fifth full year with the organization.
Before joining FSTC full-time, Omar also worked as a tennis and strength and conditioning coach at MAT Academy in Mexico, where he helped develop competitive junior players.
Combining his collegiate experience, international coaching background, and years of leadership at Future Stars, Omar brings energy, professionalism, and a player-focused approach to every session he leads.

Felipe has been an integral part of the Future Stars family for more than 15 years. A graduate of Newberry College, he distinguished himself as an All-Conference 2nd Team selection and capped off his collegiate career with an undefeated senior-year doubles season. By age 18, Felipe had already achieved a Top 10 regional ranking in his native Brazil.
After graduating, Felipe returned to Newberry as Head Coach, before moving to New York to join Future Stars as a full-time coach. From 2009 to 2020, he served as the Director of the Tennis Camp at our Old Westbury location, where he guided hundreds of players and shaped the foundation of our program.
Felipe now leads our Junior Development Program with the same passion and dedication he brought to his playing career. He is a RSPTA-certified professional committed to helping players grow both on and off the court.

Collegiate level assistant tennis coach at West Virginia Wesleyan College for two years (2018-2019)
Tino played competitive tennis in the Buenos Aires circuit, playing Top Servs and LOTS, which are money tournaments under the AAT (Asociación Argentina de Tenis) Beginning in 2015, he attended West Virginia Wesleyan College, where he mostly played #2 doubles and singles #6 for the school that was ranked #30 nationally in NCAA Division II. Tino earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from WVWC in 2019, and a master’s degree in business administration from Marconi International University in 2022. Tino has 7 years of tennis coaching experience, including at the collegiate level at his alma mater.
